Pavel graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University with an MSc degree in Applied Mathematics in 2005 and from New Economic School with an MA degree in Economics in 2007.

Mr. Popikov joined OTKRITIE FC’s research team in February 2009 as an equity analyst covering the Electric Utilities sector. Prior to joining OTKRITIE he worked as a Utilities sector analyst in KIT Finance Investment Bank since July 2008 and URALSIB Capital since 2006.
